Hi everyone :D I think there was a thread like this somewhere but I can't find it. If a moderator could kindly show it to me, that'd be great. If not, people can post their first ever ukulele videos here and discuss them :o Here's mine, it's not great :p

I hid my face because I was shy...haha. Ah, back when I used to strum my uke like a guitar! I played the guitar before turning to the uke. :P. I've done a full cover of the song though, but yeah. Everyone needs to start somewhere!

Nice! I watched some of your newest videos and saw how far you've come!!! You know, I never played quitar but I definitely have a guitar-ish strum when I play the uke! I really struggle with that!

@Starby : Thank you! And, do you still struggle with it? Do you strum with your thumb as well?

@peytakeeho: *blushes* Like my singing?! Haha thank you. Sometimes, I just get so frustrated with my voice and I want to take down all of my videos. :(. But thank you, it really means a lot.

Ok here's my first attempt. Feel free to laugh and point fingers.
I hope to improve alot over time. (hopefully).
BTW forgive me for the low lighting.

You sure you are new to the uke? Haha it sounds really good. Sounded like the Chocobo theme to me in the beginning.

Ok, found a trial version of power editor and I think I'm going to buy it. Pretty easy to use with the .mov files jus goofing around I was able to do this....

This was my first one, for the Mya Moe contest just about a year ago. First song I ever wrote, first song uploaded to YT. I think I now have 11 originals under my belt, and I owe it mostly to this little contest to help me break the ice. I have a different channel now, I had created that one several years ago when I uploaded my son's graduation speech.

Here's mine. Please forgive the 2 false starts at the beginning. I'm sure there's a way to edit them out, but you can't possibly imagine how lazy i am. It's Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, it's Alright", just one verse (without vocals), played at an absurd speed on my baritone (which is tuned like a soprano). I just picked up a soprano, and am working on Leonard Cohen's "Avalanche". Would it be cheating to post that one here, too? It would be my first soprano video... But I'm getting ahead of myself... enjoy this, and feel free to critique me!
