ATTENTION ALL YOU WONDERFUL SE-UKERS!!!!
You are an awesome uker, you know? And what do awesome ukers do? They get together with other awesome ukers, and they put on a......
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY BIG SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, don't let that scare you off. Whether you can only strum one chord, or you can pick with the best of them, or maybe you're just starting to learn ukulele, this is an event you WILL WANT TO ATTEND!
So Mark Your Calenders for the ....DA KINE KANIKAPILA!
Our very own, Uncle Wally, will be hosting a KANIKAPILA (Jam Session) at Mountain Park Activity Center, in Stone Mountain, GA., on April 9, 2011.
There will be food and beverages, open mic, meet-and-greet, and most importantly, UKULELES!!!
But not any old ukuleles! There will be Plastic ukuleles, Koa Ukuleles, Custom Ukuleles, brands from Kala up to KoAloha and KAMAKA!! Want to try an electric ukulele, then you're in luck! Eleukes too!
UAS* will hit you once you step foot into that room!
Ukulele groups from surrounding counties are encouraged to attend! During our program, we encourage you to come up during the open mic, have a duet, a trio or a "ukulele team/band/group/nut!".
We want to break that barrier of being shy, and present you with a environment where everyone can come out and play their ukuleles in AWESOME GLORY!
OF course, if you're awesome enough,(which you are) you can even play a solo, or two!
So, start practicing for this event. All instruments are allowed. Even body parts!
Please pass on this information to others that would like to attend this event; whether they play ukulele, guitar, the triangle, whatever! Let 'em KNOW!
