Info on Kamoa ukes

Kamoa advertises a new line of veneer ukes, which claim to have "bell tone." Has anyone heard one of these newer ukes , and can you comment on how they sound compared to a solid wood instrument, like an Ohana or Mainline? It is hard to discern from the clips available.
