My 3rd entry in Mim's contest, not as much of a remix as could be imagined (how about a rap version?), but with the finger-picking it is definitely not bossa nova.
I know this is one of those songs people love to hate, perhaps due to its long association with elevator muzak, but I think it is an extremely well crafted composition, and the sentiment expressed in the Portuguese lyrics is quite poignant. And I'm a big boy now, I'm used to "dislikes".
