Hi All,

Can anyone recommend the best way to remove a Tenor Ukulele neck? It was attached using Titebond glue and has two 1/4 inch dowels.

yeah it is completed with the fretboard attached, not laquered yet though.

For a start you have to unglue the fretboard extension just past where it joins the body...There are few ways of doing this on U-Tube, but a thin bladed tool will be needed and heat... and watch out for any plastic binding that may get in the way and melt.

So I ended up making some tea, and while doing so, I held the neck joint over the teapot, which was boiling water. The steam let me work a metal spatula, like you use for spackeling drywall (however that is spelled), into the joint to help pry things apart. After a few min of this the neck joint came apart nicely.
