Eye folks,

I am currently having my banjo converted to a 5 string tenor. Found a person willing to sell a 5 string tenor neck on banjohangout for $45. Once we got to talking he offered to fit the neck and heel if I would cover the shipping. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me. My intention is to tune it up one of two ways: Either dDgbe or gGcea. Not sure yet, but I'm pretty excited to have the option of the low string and the re-entrant.

Here are a couple pics for those interested.

Here is the neck on the body. He said he's still got a bit of work to do the match the heel with the rim.

Pretty cool-are the 5th & 4th strings close together like on a 5 string ukulele?

No, the string spacing with be the same between all strings, which I prefer.
