Wound G vs nylon??

Wonder if and what the difference is with the wound strings, G and C, vs not. Is there a reason to order on over the other?? I see I had a Wound low G, am now changing to the Worth brown low G but not wound. Wondered what to look for in this change,,,

Less squeak, won't unravel and should last longer.

Just make sure that the slot on the ukulele's nut is wide enough to fit the fairly large low-g. I've had intonation problems before because the string was sitting on top or the groove rather than actually inside of it. Other than that, it should feel nicer to the fingers and play nicely.

Basically comes down to personal preference . . . The majority of players here prefer an unwound string.
