Hi all....

I'm a big fan of the lines, design, and sound of the Hollywood ukuleles made by the Schireson Brothers back in the 20's and 30's...

There's a nice one on E$%y right now, which is the first one I've seen in 2-3 years or so...
Check it out here....

Does anyone have one in their collection that they could share pics of....?
Love to see it if "yes"...

I'll post mine in a bit...

Thanks for sharing, Always nice to see rare vintage unique ukuleles..Happy Strummings..MM Stan

I have that exact Hollywood ukulele that was my grandmother's, only in much better condition. I've never seen another like it prior to this, it will be interesting to see if he gets his price! I'll try to get some photos.

I love that body shape!

A modern interpretation is being built by Kevin Crossett of Kepasa Ukuleles - very very nice looking stuff!

Looks like someone really played and loved that uke a lot! Anyone know the story behind "Hollywood" ukuleles? Who made them, when, where....the whole deal? Looks like a well made instrument!

Here's mine...
Note the curly mahogany neck...
Probably not the original bridge...
