Can you help identify this Uke?

I got a used baritone ukulele today. It has no label so I was wondering if someone could help identify it for me. It is thought to be from the 50's or 60's. It is similar to a Martin but has Japan stamped on the back of the head stock.

I have no idea what it is, but I thought the body and headstock were pretty "Martin Tenor"-ish. A Martin tenor or baritone would have pins holding the strings in the bridge, but this is clearly inspired by Martin styling.
