Hey all - I hope this is in the right forum, but I just wanted to throw out a recommendation for anyone who wanted a chord reference app for their cell phone.

Last night I downloaded "Basichords" and as a beginner I find it to be fantastic. It allows you to instantly see any chord and it's variations on one screen. It also can play you the chord in 3 different speeds as well as show you recommended fingering as well as the root, fifth, seventh etc..

It has settings for guitar, ukuele and a few other instruments as well.

Hope this is helpful!

I had Fretboard, but switched to Basichords. I like it better, because it shows the alternatives, and it supports D tuning.
