This is a great deal on a Harmony Roy Smeck Mahogany with upgraded tuners and Worth Strings. Solid wood instrument with the patented styrene fretboard. I purchased a few ukes from this seller and the instruments are in great shape and packaged securely.

Just after my first (brief) foray into ukulele, about 8 years ago, I saw one of these in an antique store not far from my town. It was in good shape, and I think they were asking $50. I have always wished I had bought it. My first ukulele was a P.O.C., and I gave up playing it until about 2 years ago. I might have stuck with it if I had gotten a better instrument early on. I remember looking at it and thinking "Roy Smeck... that sounds familiar but I don't know why". After I got into ukes again, I read about him and remembered seeing his name in Guitar Player Magazine when I was in high school back in the '80s. THAT'S why it sounded familiar!
The one I saw was a pretty nice sounding instrument (especially compared to the crappy little soprano I had then). Someone got a great deal on this one!
