View Full Version : Uke stores on Oahu?

Headed out to Oahu w/family tomorrow for a week, thinking of picking up a couple of Makala Dolphins for the kids to play while there. Does anyone have any suggestions on a store on Oahu that might have a good selection of Dolphin colors?

Ukulele Stores - USA (http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?16519-Ukulele-Stores-USA) listed by state . . .

Just to add, you'll probably find your best selection of Dolphins in Honolulu at Easy Music Center, Island Guitars, and Dan's Guitars. I know they don't have Dolphins at Aloha Ukulele and my guess is that the other uke stores in Waikiki deal in more high-end instruments. Not completely sure though.

And if you're on your way to the North Shore, might as well stop by Hawaii Music Supply in Wahiawa.

Oh, and you might try the stalls at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (http://www.alohastadiumswapmeet.net/) held on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Have a great time in the Islands!

I think MGM has a store in Kaneohe.

Right! Practically on the way to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Valley of the Temples is right there too. And hey, very close to Lanikai Beach. Just saying that there might be other reasons to haul the family out that way. ;)

They're all over the place, really. There's about five I can think of just in Waikiki. Hawaiian Music Supply is awesome, they're about 30 minutes away, though. There's also Island's and Dan's in Waikiki. One is in Ward shopping center. Your best bet would be to call around.
