Kala Thinline travel Tenor (spruce top/ mahogany) [SOLD]
Hi,
This is a very lightly used kala thinline tenor. [SOLD]
I bought it on fleamarketmusic a few months back. I bought to see if I like tenor size. It sounds great, very loud. (my husband thinks it sounds better than the mele or Kelii, to each his own)
I just rarely play it now because I ended up getting a Kelii tenor.
Except for a very small coating scratch on the side (as seen on photo), the uke is like new. comes in original gigbag.
The strings are Southcoast strings (reentrant)
The saddle was not too tight original so I put a thin slice of card stock in the bridge. (I got that idea from Matt Dahlberg. He said the same thing about the Kala Acacia tenor. I wonder if it's a Kala thing) You can see it on the photo.
-Donna
p.s. may consider trade. Tempt me with an eleuke, hamano, kiwaya ks1, vintage uke, cedar top...
p.s. I will be on vacation for 2.5 weeks from next Wed. on. Hope to ship before then)
