did I get Something from nothing or is their something that I know nothing about?

Well I've had my uke for just short of 2 years now and I still haven't learned anyone elses songs yet however through great stuborness I have strummed a bunch of chords together and created my own song (monkeys recess) and I have played it to death lol several times a day for a year and made a YouTube video with it. Well today I just pretended I knew what the heck I'm doing and I tryed picking some Alien pattern to me and changing out the few chords I know and even integrated harmonics into the tune and I'm very pleased with the result but I'm confused how a person who knows nothing about music can just create this song in a min. After playing 1 song for a year?
This uke has been signed and played by both Jake and Taimane perhaps that has something to do with it ..... This song just appeared in my brain
