I have a brand new Ukulele Mahalo. I think I need new strings.
If I can't find "ukulele strings" . What type of strings should I use instead?. Thanks.

Just go to your local music shop and ask for Aquila ukulele strings.
I presume you have a soprano size? If in doubt take it to the shop
with you they ought to know!

Hello There.

I did that, they told me that they don't sell Ukulele Strings, I tried on 3 different music store. I know that Ukulele aren't common in here.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this.

see this thread . . . FYI - Uke Strings Where To Buy.

Athenea, I also buy from Elderly, great choices and great to deal with. Worth strings and Aquila strings are probably the two "most popular" brands. Aquila helps produce a "brighter" sound in my opinion. There are some good tutorials on YouTube for changing strings. Also remember, after changing strings, they will take a few days to settle in so you will have to re-tune the uke often.
