Can someone tell me how wide a tenor neck is at the nut and how wide where the neck attaches to the body. As I've read the scale is 17" to the bridge. I have the fret locations.

I like the width at the nut to be just about 1 7/16". That gives me a string spacing of 1mm on center at the nut. I use this spacing regardless of the size of the uke. The width at the 14th body connection is 1 3/4".

Thanks Chuck I going to make a tenor Gourd Uke. I've meade several Concerts that worked out pretty well.

I would like to know what are your demensions of the Concert necks.

The concert necks that I make on my Gourd Banjo Ukes measures 1 1/2" wide at the nut and 1 7/8" at the gourd and is 9 1/4" long. Keep in mind this is a Gourd Banjo Uke.
