Sweet! Congratulations Bao! :D I can't wait to hear how you like your new MP tenor and to see more pics! What woods did you go with? That slotted headstock looks gorgeous. :)

And Sayyadina, congratulations on ordering a tenor from Mike! There are few joys in the world like the process of ordering a custom ukulele, especially an MP! ;)

Most definitely a lot cheaper than the base cost of other custom luthiers. At least my MP was that cheap anyway. This one is just a beauty. His custom ukes float well-below or right around the $1000 mark.

Hi guys!!! I'm just dropping by to thanks for the feedbacks on my beaty....Actually, I have to thank Mike for building such a nice uke for me...

And not only does it look great....but the projection and sustain is just crazy.....
It's quite hard not to pick it and play when you have even just a few minutes to play......

A winner in my book!!

By the way, it's a bearclaw spruce top wit koa sides-back wood combo....And the headstock is very nice too....well just like any MP headstock!!

Mp probably has orders left right and center huh?

I got mine in 3-4 weeks from the day I ordered to today (just got it:D). Take that long custom luthier waitlists! MP's quality and service is excellent and I'd recommend him to anyone looking into the custom route without having to break the bank.

I can only second that. Mike is currently building my tenor. If it weren't for an inlay which he gets done by a specialist it would have taken only 1 month from the day I ordered until the uke is finished. Mike is also a very nice and patient guy. I changed decisions quite often during the ordering process, he didn't mind and always explained all my questions in detail.

how about sending it overseas? To Australia?

He is sending to Germany so I guess Australia won't be a problem either.

3-4 weeks is pretty insane. I considered 3-4 months to be VERY fast for a custom build! It's almost enough to make me want to order an MP...:p
