yeah, that's sure it! I saw her interviewed about her custom Tony Graziano uke and she loved it because it was so 'feminine'. Evidently, she went for the 'Bluebird' theme because bluebirds often appear in many of the early twentieth century songs she sings with her band.
Ah, Janet Klein. When I got my first uke, my research on them internets led to her. She elped get me hooked on uke. One of these days I'm going to have to go out to LA to see her and her Parlor Boys.
She appears the first Thursday of each month at an intimate theater in Hollywood. The setting is perfect for her show. The Parlor Boys lineup changes each time, but the show is always terrific and lively. Ian Whitcomb is a regular guest but there is no doubt who the star is.
