This is MGMs purchased stock. Looks like he's closing it out.

Something tells me to step carefully, though is really an excellent deal.

They claim they are new Pono dealers, and this uke is one of the "new line" of Pono ukes. Includes a lightweight case. An excellent price, with "factory setup!" hmmmm.
How are you at "fine tuning" a setup?

Heh heh, I'm sorry. I've been considering Enabling as a serious profession, after almost 6 months under the superb guidance of our very own, Dr Eugene Ukulele.

I can see a catch, if not the catch. Shipping to the US appears to be $8. Shipping to Canada? $543.

...'Cause apparently, the ukulele will be carried across the border by six ninjas riding on gold-plated elephants. I can think of no other explanation.

Ha! that is what its quoting......ok, my "buy it now finger" has stopped twitching :)
Must be a mistake though unless he really doesn't want to ship outside the US.

please, someone save me from this, and a row with my wife. I've already got 7 holes in my head, don't need another.

Clearly bought a bunch of MGM's stock as this item sort of reveals:

If I had the extra $$, I'd snap that up & box it up & send it back to MGM as a present.

Well, the Canadian shipping is down to $53 from $543, so I'm suspecting typos all around. Perhaps someone created the original auction while ever so slightly tipsy.

You know this could be MGM selling his stock. I thought he had a residence in the southeast. This may just be another ebay account of his or a friend's.

In this expired listing, the same seller expressly states that he got "many setup ukuleles from MGM when he sold out his extra stock." Lots of typos.
