Unfortunately I just got my gold label custom Kamaka Tenor back from being repaired and I spent all my Ukulele allowance..ha ha..

I wonder if the back was changed since it's pretty straight grained. Kamaka typically matches the front and back fairly closely. Perhaps the seller only paid for a one-sided upgrade?

This Uke is really rare...never seen a white label deluxe like this before...the new ones seem to have carried on the same design..

Honestly, that's practically my dream uke. When I have the funds I would love to commission a "special" from Kamaka. Longneck concert, custom inlay, binding, ebony fretboard, whatever they could do xD maybe for a graduation present...
