i was just offered this instrument locally for 700.00 is this a good deal?

it does not say usa on the label so it appears to be pre 1959..

what you guys think?

Stan's point is an excellent one but I must say that the price is certainly right. Koa neck, I assume. I'm curious, does this have the "knurled" adjustment knob Schaller friction tuners?

no the ones on this uke are geared and silver in color with white knobs

Pin bridge is nice. How is the action at the 12th fret? Many times vintage baritones require neck resets to be playable.
