While sorting through some abalone bits to create a rosette I ran across this guy... Friend or foe? Should I make a wide rosette and leave him/her to watch over things or is that an angry look on his/her face?

lol he would go well on a tiki themed instrument.

historicaly many cultures have used angry and scary faces and images to frighten off evil spirits, such as is the tradition of gargoyles on buildings.
