Baroq-ulele, soprano ???

They are pretty & sound great as well. Uke Republic has had them for some time. Perhaps Mike can tell you more - he's a member here on UU. And there are plenty of people on here who live close enough to Elderly to have had a chance to play one.

Mahalo!

Can't address the soprano, but I have the tenor model.

There's a definite cool factor, it's unique and awesome looking. :)

But for everything else, I'd say it's just okay. Construction is decent but not spectacular. The bridge and saddle are rather cheesy, though. Volume is somewhat lacking.

The violin-style pegs on mine are very difficult to tune, friction pegs might be easier, dunno.

With the bowl back shape, it's next to impossible to play without a strap. Even then, it slides all around.

Honestly, if I'd had a chance to try before I bought, I think I would have passed on it. Okay if you can find a deal on a used one, but not really worth the retail price IMO.
