Hi y'all,

Has anyone heard of or played a "rabbit ukulele"? I saw one on e-bay and it actually has a rabbit's head painted on the front of the uke. It's a soprano uke... I like rabbits and bunnies, so I thought it would be fun to have one on my uke. I have a Riptide tenor, a Kala concert, and now I'm sort of thinking about adding a soprano to the stringed family. Maybe I'll just find a Kala soprano that I know will be a good one.... any thoughts?

So there's the aNueNue U900 ukulele's that just came out. Here's links on Uke Republic's website:

They are loads of fun & sound pretty good for laminate ukes. I played the pineapple quite awhile a couple of weeks ago. They are named after the Japanese YouTube phenom U900:

The standard Soprano has a rabbit laser-etched on the headstock & on the top between the bridge & the bear-shaped soundhole. The pineapple has the reverse w/the rabbit-shaped soundhole. I'm getting it for my daughter, though she will have to promise to let me play it!

I think some people here have rabbit ukes. they multiply .... hehe

Bunnies are cool

Hi again,

As it turned out the "UAS" got the best of me and I got a Kala soprano uke. Actually, I ordered it and it isn't here yet. Now I will have a tenor, concert, and soprano, and should be satisfied for awhile. I didn't get the rabbit after all.
