Hello all. I'm new to the forum.

I found this uke in my grandma's basement. It belonged to my grandfather, who recently died. I'm hoping someone can give me a little info about it.

It seems pretty cheaply made, and old. When I found it, it was in need of glue repairs. Most of the seams had come loose. When I strung it, the bridge popped off and also had to be glued. There's no brand name and no markings at all, other than the interesting pattern on the front. The fretboard is wooden, and the frets seem to be brass. Tuners are cheap plastic. I suspect it may have come from either Arizona or New Mexico as he made quite a few trips there in the 50s and 60s.

Anyone recognize it? It's my first uke and I'm having a blast playing it.

I can't tell you what the uke is, but how wonderful you are having fun with it! Welcome to UU this is a great place to learn!

Could be an old Regal / Supertone uke, maybe from the 20's-30's????
