I found this beautiful Koloa uke on Edlery.com! All solid mahogany and all that good stuff! Anyone owed a koloa uke or this particular uke? How are the friction tuners on them? Here is the link to the uke:http://elderly.com/new_instruments/items/KU620.htm
My budget for a uke is below $300...is this a good deal for the money? What others are you favorites in this range? I already have a mainland so please do not suggest those
Also, I am not a fan of friction tuners...how much of a hassle would it be to put some peg tuners on (the ones that look like friction but are geared)? Any drilling required? I am not good at working on ukes, is this something I could do or pay a pro? And which peg tuners do you recommend?
