After checking one out a week ago, that's where I'd expect them to be priced in pristine shape. Not knocking them for any reason other than the price. Compared to a KoAloha or Kamaka soprano, I think it's a secondary player. But it sure looks nice.
 
Gotta agree on the pricing being just ok. I got my $500.00 Black Bear concert uke from Duane yesterday, and I just couldn't say enough good things about it...
 
So I played this little baby when Uke Republic had it - it is an amazingly accurate rendition of an early vintage Nunes style uke. It is incredibly light and simply beautiful. Pippin reviewed it in Ukulele Player Magazine #19, online here:
