This is my third build. Cherry Soprano with a cherry neck, cedar linings and bracing, lacewood peghead veneer, GHS strings, bone nut and saddle, and Grover friction tuners. The "in the raw" picture shows #3 along with #2. Number 2 was a prototype, of sorts, because it was the first to go through the process with the bender, form, and mold that I've made for sopranos. Some issues to work out, but they are coming along as I continue to learn. Number 3 weighs in at 281g. and has a nice clear tone and good volume. I still have to finish number 2.

Very nice work! Have you started number 4?

Thanks, Doc. Yep, numbers 4, 5, and 6 are in the works. Number 4 is another all cherry made from the same board as #3. I still have some of that cherry left, but wish I had bought more because it is gorgeous and has great tone. Number 5 is all mahogany and number 6 is spalted/curly/ambrosia maple sides and back with a cedar neck and top. All of these will get the same Brazilian cherry fretboards and bridges as #3 and bone nuts and saddles...if I can talk Vic D out of some more bone. Stinky stuff to work with but I love the tone. I guess I got bit by the building bug.
