Hi,
I'd like to learn frailing on my baritione uke.
I will be dedicating a spare baritone specifically for frailing so I can tune it any way I wish.
I usually tune to low D - DGBE lowest note to highest.
I think I will replace the low D with an E string and tune it to a high D for the drone note (reentrant tuning like on a tenor).
Any suggestions for how to tune the other strings?
I heard about an open tuning DGDG. Does that make playing easier?
If I do change the tuning should I change the string to one that was designed to be at the new pitch or is it OK to just tighten or loosen one of the DGBE strings?

Thanks for any advice!

I'd also query southcoastukes.com, see set up and strings guides.
