Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but the General Discussion section hardly gets any views, and I would really like to see an answer to this if anyone has a clue, most likely from a luthier of sorts.
I'm looking to get a Pipa, and I want to make sure it is all solid wood. But I can't find any example, even in the quadruple digits price range that claim solid wood. There are a few that say they are made of full block rosewood, like this one http://www.shoppingchinanow.com/virt...pipa-p009.html
Does anyone know if it's the same thing, just a different way of saying it?
