Kala Exotic Mahogany Tenor or Kala Spruce Top Tenor?

Ok, I think I've narrowed down my 1st ukulele purchase to the Kala Exotic Mahogany Tenor or the Kala Spruce top tenor. I've heard that the laminate on the exotic mahogany is thinner then other ukes, so that's good. Is the Kala solid spruce top a laminate top as well? (If it's not I'm gonna go with that one, because I'd prefer the solid spruce top to a laminate) If it is, which one of these would you recommend based on quality, sound, etc.

The Exotic Mahogony is a laminate top and the Spruce is a solid Spruce top.

I had both and like the Kala KA-ST solid Spruce top more. The spruce top is louder and looks Beautiful!

I sold the Kala KA-TEM.

I started with a laminate top Kala KA-TG, but it just did not sound as loud and clear as the solid spruce top on the Kala and Lankia STs, which I now own. The beauty of a veneer is only skin deep.
