Looking to upgrade maybe soon and gonna start this thread to get a price check and see if anyone would be interested in it.

Like title says its a PONO PRO CLASSIC MAHOGANY SERIES TENOR WITH SLOT HEAD (MHTSH) purchased from Musicguymic from ebay in december 2010 it has been babied when I got it and kept in good condition ever since with a humidifier, just found out it has a minor ding somehow(I think my wife did it,

grrrrrrr) and 2 manufactures defects that are minor, BUT AT LEAST NO CRACKS!

Looking to get $400 It is strung with Aquilla nygut strings,will include a Ko'olau hard case ,Herco humidifier and extra set Aquilla nygut tenor strings and SHIPPING WILL BE INCLUDED!

Here is one of the manufacture defects... somehow the painter or something got the gold paint for the gold lines got onto the black part. I tried seeing with my nail if its a scratch but its under the gloss finish and is smooth.

This one is a little spot that I found, thats on the clear coat. Its not a crack or anything. very minor, had to get super close to see it.

That's a pretty ukulele! I have a Pono mahogany baritone (a more basic model than yours) that I absolutely love to play. It's very well-made and has a great sound. Good luck with yours, whatever you decide to do.

Nice uke, a few flaws, but can be overlooked for right price. Always someone interested in a uke like this.

I personally think that uke + price = interest. You offer a deal on this baby and see how many are interested! May be surprised.

Put a price and see what happens. You are not going to get an offer you can't refuse however like PHil said, uke + price = interest. People always want a good deal and UAS is strong in this forum. I am tempted myself since I just purchased your concert!! =)

I would say that if it is a blem model, then Pono charges half of the MSRP. Start there. I just bought 2 from them and they are cosmetic blems which sounds like what you have. $739 divided by 2 would be what a new one from Pono would be. So, about $370. I would do $350 and it will move very fast and I would consider that a win-win.

Seconds are hard to come by as they usually are not in stock and it's not like mfgrs make "seconds". I talked Ko'olau a few weeks ago and he told me to check back again in July. I've called other mfgrs as well and many don't have seconds either. The slotted headstocks seem pretty cool considering that some pros are using it.

I have pretty good offer atm, but if someone can at least do $400 that would be nice. It will include the Ko'olau Hard Case,Extra set of Aquila Nylgut strings,Herco Humidifier and UPS Ground Shipping. I also just put on new Aquila strings yesterday.

not trying to make it bidding war, just was saying I had an offer already but my set price was $400. Sorry!

BTW PENDING SALE. Just waiting for the person to send paypal.
