Black Bear ukulele

I recently purchased a Black Bear pineapple soprano ukulele. The instrument is a joy to play. It is definitely my forever uke. It was especially rewarding to meet it's maker, luthier Duane Heilman. His knowledge, passion and integrity was obvious. And he's fun to be around. It was well worth the 320 mile roundtrip drive. http://s1102.photobucket.com/albums/g444/ukeitup/

This is a beautiful koa pineapple Black Bear! congratulations!
I received my standard Black Bear mahogany soprano this week too (used but like new), by Eugeneukulele, from Australia. It's a beautiful ukulele with a kind of vintage sound.

I think a Black Bear has never traveled as much as this one.
