Hello loves! It's Holly. :) So my plans are to get my first really nice ukulele when i go to Hawaii next summer. I'll either be on Kauai or Maui. I know of Bounty music supply in Maui, but I don't know the names of any really good shops in Kauai.
I'd also like to have a better idea of what I'm looking for. Does anyone know good places in Socal? Guitar center was a nightmare...
Last thing. I'm leaning towards a tenor or mayyyybe a concert with a tenor neck, but i'd love some input on what you like any why. I do perform, as a singer/player, so that would be something to consider. Please just let me know your input! Thanks so much!

Here are some socal stores that carry ukes. I would call to see if they carry a brand you're looking for. Island Bazaar would be a great place to go if your wanted to get additional help and information. You are going to get all kinds of answers of what brand of ukuleles because it is a matter of opinion. The K brands are the most popular high end ukuleles: Kamaka, Koaloha, and Kanilea. There are many more and I'll let the rest of the forum chime in.
