There has been a huge amount of talk about this album online, and I have been listening for a few days now.

I put a review up here - http://www.gotaukulele.com/2011/06/eddie-vedder-ukulele-songs-review.html

I'd say it's well worth a listen

Ukulele Songs - Eddie Vedder - I'm not a Pearl Jam fan. That may have to change after listening the this album. When I saw this getting a mention on CNN's Morning Express a couple weeks ago, I took a look a the description and immediately downloaded it. And I'm very impressed. Eddie Vedder has a great voice and it matched with the ukulele very well. It is not easy to get seriousness and a touch of sadness with the bright sounds of the instrument, but he managed to bring it together in a nice folk tune way. This music would fit with any folk song collection and is certainly going to help promote the ukulele in a big way!

Don't know how long ago you wrote that but based on the kamaka promotion of his ebay sale I think the uke is a custom kamaka that sold for $17,000
