Hi

I have a Koalha Tenor and I want to have a little bit more tension but not much more...Its really low action and easy to bend due to my mediocre skills. I like the sound so I want to stick with Worth. Do they use light or medium tension from the factory?

I've read that people use tenor strings on concert uke so that's what I plan to do with the extra length. What is the main benefit? Is there more tension, thus better sound or volume?

Thanks

Worth makes strings in every kind of tension and thicknesses. Check out their website.

All of the Worth "ordinary" sets (CL, CM, CT, BL, BM, BT) use the same gage strings for the C and E. Only the A and G strings are heavier gages as you go from CL to CM and then to CT. I find that CM works well on my tenor, but some people like heavier strings.
