George's UB3 hasn't been seen for years, but that looks like it right there on page 2. The only thing I could theoretically afford here, on a good day, is that case.

Yes - these famous player ukes are rare - all are coveted and securely in people's collections. Tessie O'Shea's Gibson UB5 was up a few months back; it went to a friend, but only brought in $2,600.00 - Guess Tessie is kind of forgotten these days...
 
Jeesh, what I would love to be able to give for that thing. I been wanting one of those gibbys for ever. That specific one I would pass out every time I picked it up to play it..
