I was inspired by recent reviews of other K-Brand ukes so I made a small review of mines! Hope this is somewhat helpful to anyone in the market for a Kanile'a haha.

Its an excellent instrument! Which grade of wood is it. Regular or Delux. It doesn't look like a premium.

It's regular grade wood I believe. I know it's just the standard tenor so that's my assumption lol. But yeah, it's a great instrument!

You sir, play well, that uke sounds well. Somehow it sounds like Jake's uke, and playing.

You're in the market for a new tenor....Interested in trades for a KoAloha tenor? :D

Thanks Lexxy! I think part of the Jake-ish sound is attributed to the fact that I use the exact same strings as him lol! But as far as trades, I'm gonna hang onto this uke. We've bonded through the past couple months and I've grown attached lol!

Hah! Well you play really well. I think i'd have to try his exact same strings too!!

Haha, yeah. These D'addario pro artes are great! This is the video I watched to learn where to buy/what strings to buy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzLF5owZz1s

I completely agree with you! I have all 3 of the "k" ukes, and my very favorite is my kanile'a k1 concert. I also noticed the beautiful rich warm tone which you mentioned. It was a very good review and I enjoyed your great playing as well. Thanks for sharing!
