Hi!
I am a beginner at this whole ukulele thing
but I love the music this little instrument can play!

The song I really wanted to learn though was "Oh it is love" by hellogoodbye. It is such a beautiful song. I've searched everywhere on Google and I found this site which was a big help. BUT! There was so many different ways of playing the chords. So I just chose one option, and I am sticking to it.

Yet,I know there is strum patterns
the whole
up down down up thing.

So can someone help me with the strum pattern
for oh it's love?

this should teach you how to read it:

the guide is for guitar tabs, but it's the same exact principle

if you're still confused, just ask. you can also find a lot of covers of that song on youtube, and on a lot of them you can make out the fingering, and strum patterns.

K i had the same mindset when i first started. It wouldn't be fun if everything was handed to you on a silver platter. First nail the chords down then the picking and memorize the chord progression. The listen to the actuall song and strum away until YOU believe you have the strum down always remember to count it out in you head! besides your starting out who cares if it sounds like crap you will get better with time! trust me!
