Here is a sound sample for the Dük Archtop. Well, kinda. I hope you can get an idea of the tone through my horrible sample. I have a hard time playing these archtops. My fingers just seem to get tangled in the strings on these things.. lol.. Contact me if ya want more info..

Cool Uke, but, just not "my" thing..

In an earlier post you were having a tough time with the action being too high.

Did you get it low enough and still have some volume and a pretty full sound?

It is tough to tell from the video.

Not as much as I like. I understand that the action is typically higher on archtops from what I hear. I guess why I always have had issues playing them. The saddle is adjustable. I took the bone section down a little bit, but not much, because I know these types depend on that for their sound, and sustain & volume. The action is pretty nice along the fretboard where it needed to be. But, the strings being so high off the soundboard, that is where it messes with me, for picking. Seems my fingers get tangled up in them over the sound board.. lol.. It's not the instrument tho, it's my own awkwardness with them. ;)
