Forgive me if this question has been posted and answered allready. I couldnt find it. But then again I can barely tie my shoes. Is it bad judgement to use flat sawn wood "curly maple" for uke sides? Thanks

Should be ok. Quilted maple is flat sawn to show it's unique curl.

Flat sawn will be a little less stable than quartersawn, but what the heck; if it's decently dried and all, it'll probably be fine.
