Whatup guys! this is my first post, greetings from singapore!

i've been playing a makala tenor for about a year now and i feel its time for me to get something with more punch, i feel that my makala is kind of holding back on sound projection after trying a m8's mainland tenor, and damn its loud!
so just a wanna ask you guys for opinions, which uke have you tried yet? im thinking the

or the

which do you think would be good? looking for a tenor cutaway uke to last me a long time
thanks guys :)

I haven't tried the Kala but I have had a go on the Ohana, and have one on order. I'd be quick, the next batch is due out in late July/early August according to EagleMusic, and almost all have been reserved.

damn thats fast! it must be really good huh..

I'd go with the Kala.
Solely because the two ukes seem rather comparable in terms of looks and acoustic properties.
The Kala has the built-in pickup, which is a major bonus in my books.

I have an Ohana TK-75-CG and it is one of my favorite ukuleles. It has a loud voice with a very pleasing tone. I am running Worth brown low Gs on it.

I have never played a Kala lacewood ukulele. I have a Kala spalted maple tenor that is on a par with the Ohana TK-75-CG.

Workanship between the Ohana and Kala should be about the same, each company makes some very well made ukuleles for the money.

thanks for the input guys! you guys tried mainland ukes? what you guys think of it?
