Hey everyone,

I'd been trying to play the intro of this song with my ukulele and a flute:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHZtUJDdHoM

I've got the guitar tab for the flute intro, which is the following:

Part 1
E--------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------------------
G--9-999-7--9-9-99-11-12-11-9-999-7-------9-9-7-7-6-6-8-9-10---
D----------9------------------------9-7-9--9---9---7-----------
A--------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------

E--------------------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------------------
G--9-999-7-----------------------------------------------------
D---------9-7-9------------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------

So.. I've got this flute called "Recorder" I believe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recorder , used to play it at school some years ago), but I don't know a lot about music, so I have 2 questions:

- Is there any way to make, for example, a G9 in the flute? This so I could follow the guitar tab to play the intro!
- In case I'd like to play the intro in the ukulele, I have a G string so I can play those notes fine, but how can I make a D? I know for example if you play a C4 you get E1, is there a similar equivalence for D?

Thanks!
