I also paint and would like to know how she prepares the surface of the ukes to receive the paint which I'm going to assume is acrylic. After the paint is applied, does she apply a coating to protect the painting?

I've been doing some experimenting with some plastic bodies Mainland geckos that had bad paint jobs. I'm trying spray acryllic, first a white base coat. Hope to have something to show soon. I've got a few ugly ones left if anyone wants a cheap project.
