I guess it's true...good things do come in small packages. I bought my first Hawaiian Koa uke and man do I not regret it! I bought this from Gillian and I must thank you for how well it was packed! This is 1 out of the 200 solid Koa ukes Kanilea made for Lanikai. I plan on keeping this little gem for a long time because I imagine they will become very rare and the value will do nothing but go up! These 200 ukes were made in the Kanilea factory in Hawaii and built with the same care and love that the Kanilea ukes do!
I absolutely love the sound. Cuts right through other woods. The neck is larger than normal for a soprano (longer and wider) which makes chords easier and more frets to play on (14 frets to body)!
I am going to try to post an audio clip in the near future!
