This is an original. Way back around 1980, I was working on a long prog-rock song about space travel. In the long run, the only part of the song I really liked was the bridge, so I ditched the rest of the song. This is on a Kawika tenor.

Lyrics:

I've come to greet you
Saturn-sky missionaries
Like inside a dream
The motion of the luminary
Sudden seizure
I'm lost but only temporary
Sirens call to me
Voices of the wonder like inside of me

I'm lost in distance
Though Earth will be some time receding
Set me free now
I think I'd like to drift forever
I see visions
Colors that I have no names for
Sunburst splendors
Beauty like I've not seen since I last saw you

Well played and sung. That is a great sounding uke too. Thanks,
Don
