Another First Song Thread...

Anyone know of possibly the easiest beginner songs to play with only a couple chords?? This is my first instrument and I just got the Fender Nohea today so I want to jump on in!

I always recommend Uncle Rod's Ukulele Boot Camp to noobies. Don't forget to spend at least as much time practicing (memorizing) chords as you do playing.

Try surf. Most people who play the uke would know this song. It is a simple song and you can experiment different strumming patterns. Just search google or YouTube for the song or how to play it. The chords are C Am F and G7. It is very easy to find chord fingerings on google also.

I liked Island in the sun and...can't help falling in love...both have very similar chord progressions, and often (if in the key of C) will help introduce you to a few minor chords...
