Check out the Mixer/Amp rig I made. We play a lot on the street and I got tired of having to hook stuff up. I made this out of Birch and powered it with a 18AH 12 V battery. I run two powered condenser mics off of it with one dynamic mic. It powers a Zoom H2 field recorder and a reverb unit (and other pedals as needed) via a 100watt AC inverter and DC Wall warts. I have 4 speakers (2 facing out and two personal).

It took me about 80 hours to complete.

I just use one input for me, one for my wife and one for the Bass player. (2 powered codensers and on unpowered dynamic for the bass) The mixer has inputs for 5 Phantom powered mics. I run it off the 12vot DC Battery--->Ac inverter----> DC converter (has to be ineffeicent). The Behringer mixer will run off 3 - 9 volt batteries, for about 3 hours.
