Hi all!

I was wondering about how to "translate" guitar picking to the Ukulele.
Is there maybe a program out there?
Or any lists where I can see the notes on the Uke?

How for example would this picking be on the Uke:
e---------------------------

B---------------------------

G---------------------------

D---------------------------

A------7--7------7--7-------

E--0-0-------0-0------------

Learn a little theory.

the notes your playing on your guitar are E. If you learn how scales are constructed, it will help a bunch with this stuff.

Your uke is probably tuned to G,C,E,A.

each fret is a half step.

on the G starting at the nut, you have the following;

G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, G.
every string is the same for each string name (C starts on C, A starts on A, etc)

with this knowledge, you can learn where every note on the uke is.

or use the chart posted above...:)
