Has anyone been to the Langley Ukulele Workshop in British Columbia? It's being held this year on October 14-15. I get the impression that it's an outgrowth of the famous Langley Ukulele Ensemble, and it features James Hill, Ralph Shaw, Peter Luongo, Paul Luongo and J. Chalmers Doane ("the father of the Canadian ukulele") as instructors. I'm thinking of going this year and I was wondering if anyone who has been or knows someone who has been had any thoughts about whether it's worth doing. Thanks!

I always got the impression that this was to generate good teachers of ukulele players.

Getting to hang out with James Hill and Peter Luongo would be amazing, I'm sure. The Langley ensemble is incredible.

I'm registered to go because it sounded like a perfect place to learn and improve my own skills. Don't think the focus of this workshop per se is only to learn to teach, but in teaching one learns. I'm excited and can't wait.
